INTERACTIVE IMPROV FOR ACTORS
Interactive Theatre Workshops.
A shared world.
Your own responses.
Each workshop introduces a fictional setting, characters and relationships.
Some facts are established; other details emerge through play. You’ll practise making choices that fit the world while allowing the story to develop.
What happens in a Workshop?
Begin by getting to know the setting and your character. Work through shorter exercises before moving into a longer encounter with other performers, including opportunities to practise involving Guests.
The facilitator introduces information and challenges as you work, with pauses to discuss, adjust and try again.
What we'll explore:
One shared world. Three moments. No two encounters unfold in quite the same way.
An invitation to participate.
Some Guests want to question everyone.
Others prefer to watch before joining in.
We’ll explore how to offer an invitation, recognise a response and adapt without forcing participation.
The aim is to help people feel that they have a place in the world and that their contributions matter.
Is this for me?
These workshops are for adults with some acting or performance experience who want to explore immersive and interactive work.

Bring your existing acting skills and a willingness to listen, experiment and work with others.
Some acting or performance experience required.
Interactive theatre experience optional.
Minimum age: 18.
